On Wednesday, August 31, the FDA issued emergency use authorizations for brand new Pfizer and Moderna mRNA booster vaccines for COVID. The following day, September 1, the CDC’s advisory committee and CDC Director permitted the instant rollout of the brand new vaccines. They are going to be administered within the US beginning this week.
